smell, after many cleaning also it is not good, seems like cleaned with petrol - this all when I have purchased unpolished moong

the moong was of the lowest quality I got last time. they didn't absorb water after soaking overnight 

low quality 

we just opened and started cooking this daal. horrible quality. many stones. the size of grains are mixed. old and new grains have been mixed.
would like to return one sealed and one opened pack.
overall horrible quality and this quality issue must be investigated.

some of the moong is not getting soaked completely even though it is soaked for more than 8 hours. so it was difficult to remove the hard ones. pl send this feedback to the the product manufacturers
