About the Product

Methi, also known as fenugreek leaves in English are cleaned and sold without their roots. These nutritious greens are valued for their slightly bitter taste and are popular in various culinary dishes, particularly in Indian cuisine. Methi leaves are rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, offering potential health benefits. They are often used fresh or dried in curries, stews, and salads, imparting a distinct flavour that enhances the overall taste profile of dishes.

Storage and Uses
  1. Wrap them in paper and refrigerate for up to 5 days.
  2. For long-term storage, soak the leaves in a bowl of salt water for 10 minutes, then dry them on a kitchen towel.
  3. Sauté them on medium flame with a tablespoon of oil to completely absorb moisture.
  4. Once cooled, store them in an airtight container and freeze.
  5. It can be used in dal curries, parathas, and rice.
  6. Fresh green methi leaves are added to salads and soups.
