Ingredients
Sorakaya (Bottle Gourd), Drumsticks, Lady's Finger, Green Chillies, Onions, Tomatoes, Ginger, Cooked Toor Dal, Tamarind, Salt, Turmeric, Red Chilli, Sambar Masala, Dry Chilli, Garlic, Rai, Jeera, Methi, Coriander Leaves, Curry Leaves
How to Use
Step 1: Place the pan (Steel Utensil) on the stove and add 500 ml of Water along with all the Vegetables (Bottle Gourd + Drumsticks + Lady's Finger + Green Chilles + Onions + Tomatoes + Ginger). Light the stove and heat the pan on medium flame.Step 2: After the water starts boiling, Add Tamarind Puree + 250 ml of Water, mix well and boil for 5 mins.Step 3: Add Turmeric Powder + Red Chilli Powder + Salt (2 Sachets), mix well and boil for another 2 mins.Step 4: Now add Cooked Dal + 100 ml of Water and boil for 10 mins. Then add Sambar Masala + Coriander Leaves and cook for 2 mins and turn off the flame.Step 5: Preparing Talimpu / Tadka - Light the stove. Place a small pan (Steel Utensil). Add some oil and heat the pan on small flame for 1 mins. Add Methi, Rai & Jeera and fry until they splutter. Now add Dry Chillies + Garlic + Curry Leaves, turn off the flame within few seconds. Add the Tadka to the Sambar.Your Sambar is ready. Add Salt (Extra Sachet) if needed and mix well. Enjoy your meal !!Note: We recommend using a Steel Utensil. Cooking time varies with the stove being used.
