The moment I opened the bad it had a weird smell to it. I had an older bag of same noodles, older one smelled nice. Washed the newone hoping it's just some storage issue and cooked it separately. Tasted and smelt horrible. Older one was fine. Good I cooked separately. Throwing it away. 
I've checked mfg date is last month. Best to stick to well known brands that have fssai and quality checks. Avoid. 

Chemical like smell - (re)packaging issues?

Brilliant texture and thin noodles, if cooked al-dente, don't lose their texture and become soggy. Really enjoyed cooking and eating these! will certainly order again!
