Haldiram's Khatta Dhokla Instant Mix, 200 g

Enjoy delicious dhoklas with this ready-to-cook instant Dhokla Mix by Haldirams which is made with a blend of rice and black gram flour to provide you with the authentic taste of Gujarati dhoklas.

Dhokla is a vegetarian food that originated from Gujarat. It can be eaten for breakfast, as a side dish, or as a snack.

Rice (42%), Split Black Gram, Semolina, Refined Wheat Flour, Salt, Sugar, Acidity Regulator (Ins 330), Raising Agent (Ins 500 Ii).

MIX:

• Mix 2 tablespoon curd (yoghurt), 1.5 tablespoon oil & 250 ml of water.
• Add contents (200g) of the pack, mix gradually & gently into a smooth batter.

STEAM:

• Grease dhokla moulds with oil and fill 3/4th of the mould with batter.
• Steam in the cooker (without whistle) on high flame for 15 min.
• Switch off the stove, remove lid immediately so that condensed water doesn't drop on the dhoklas.
• Allow it to cool.

SERVE:

• Cut the dhokla pancake into small cubes.
• Heat two tablespoon oil, add 1 tablespoon mustard seeds when crackling starts, add sesame seeds, cumin, chopped green chillies, curry leaves & toss.
• Pour evenly on the dhokla.
• Chef's tip: Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
• Serve with Pudina & sweet-sour chutney.
