This product from brand ‘Lindberg’ contains a total of 5 ‘macarons’, a popular dessert worldwide, in flavours of ‘Chocolate’, ‘Coconut’, ‘Mango’, ‘Pista’, and ‘Salted Caramel’. These ‘macarons’ cannot be compared with the ones purchased directly from renowned bakeries in India and/or abroad, but they pass muster for a mass-manufactured product. The best of the lot is the ‘Chocolate’-flavoured ‘Macaron’, followed by the ‘Coconut’ one. These two do not seem artificial when tasted. The remaining ones have an unpleasant artificial flavour, each with a strong odour, which is borderline offensive. However, they all do have a pleasant ‘melt-in-the-mouth’, slightly ‘crumbly’ texture, thereby being able to ‘nail’ this aspect of ‘macaron’ dessert. They can be had on their own, or paired with a cup of hot coffee beverage. These ‘macarons’ contain egg and must be frozen prior to consumption. Overall, this product, at best, makes for a one-time purchase.
