This product from brand ‘Mars’ under its ‘Snickers’ range is a bar of milk chocolate, combining caramel and nougat components with almonds and roasted cashew nuts. Roasting the cashew nuts is a clever idea, for raw cashew nuts generally have no flavour of their own. Almonds might have been included so as to provide for a ‘crunch’ factor. However, the nuts seem to have been unevenly incorporated into the bar, for one feels the presence and flavour of the nuts in only 1-2 bites of the entire bar. The caramel and nougat components are not as substantial as in the original ‘Snickers’ bar. The chocolate has a good flavour, but it does not live up to the ‘Snickers’ hype. There is scope for improvement. As of now, this bar, overall, makes for a ‘lackluster’ purchase.
