Nothing tastes pure like nutrient-dense Romaine lettuce combined with long, crisp, and dark green leaves. It is an excellent source of dietary fibre, vitamins, thiamin, folate, iron, potassium, calcium, and manganese that add health to your meal. Mainly famous for Caesar salad, it pairs well with any ingredient due to its crisp texture. It can be used in salads but can be cooked as well either grilled or sautéed. Keep Romaine lettuce with live roots watered by sitting it in a glass, with water covering the roots or wash the leaves, dry them thoroughly, and refrigerate in a tightly sealed plastic bag.
