Chushi Pithe is primarily an ingredient for typical Bengali payesh or payesham, a  quick recipe for a sweet dish. The Chushi Pithe is long rice shaped sun-dried hand-rolled dough boiled in milk and jaggery or sugar with a dash of aromatic spices make it a very comprehensive sweet dish liked by all. Especially on occasions such as Nabanna-the Bengali Harvest Festival, the Chushi Pithe is a favourite dish across Bengal.

Chushi inherits its name from its tiny size. This Bengali delicacy is made from dough of rice powder and flour, hand-rolled in a mini boat shape. One may choose to be mixed in payesh/kheer for making ChushirPayesh by itself. A sweet delight for all, the Menu Maker ChusiPithe will leave you coming back for more.

Rice Powder & Flower (No Artificial Colour, Flavour Or Preservatives Used In The Process).

As Per - 100 g

• Energy - 105 kcal
• Carbohydrates - 15 g
• Protein - 4 g
• Total Fats -3 g

• Saute the Chushi in 2 tsp ghee & keep aside.
• In a non-stick pan, condense 2 L milk through slow heating on medium flame.
• When the milk reduces to one & a half L add the Chushi.
• Gradually add Nolen Gur or Sugar as per taste.
• Continuously stir the milk to prevent it from burning at the bottom.
• When the Chushi is cooked through and the milk takes the form of kheer, sprinkle a pinch of cardamom powder.
• Turn off gas & serve hot or cold.
• You may garnish with grated coconut or dry fruits.
