Prolicious Millet Dosa Mix is a plant-based high-protein breakfast made using little millet, rice and semolina. Dosa is a traditional South Indian savoury pancake made with fermented batter. It can be made into thick pancakes called Uthappam or thin crepe-like crispy texture called Ghee Roast. It is usually eaten for breakfast and/or dinner. It is served with sambar, and chutney. Dosas made with little millet taste fabulous. They can be made thin and crispy or soft and fluffy, as per your choice. Millets are naturally gluten-free, have a low glycemic index, and are rich in nutrients like B vitamins, iron, magnesium and antioxidants. They also help in boosting immunity and fight many diseases. For the health conscious, there are no added artificial flavours, colours and preservatives which is an added advantage. 1. To make 2 Dosas, mix 50g of Millet Dosa premix with 112ml of water.
2. To make 10 Dosas, mix 250g of Millet Dosa premix with 560ml of water.
3. Whisk the premix with water into a uniform mixture. Avoid lumps.
4. To a lightly greased nonstick pan, and pour 75 ml of batter and circularly spread outwards.
5. Sprinkle oil over the dosa and roast till golden brown.
6. Serve hot with coconut chutney and vegetable sambar.
