Some of the Finest Teas from Darjeeling.  Poobong Tea Estate is tucked away between the small hilly stations of Sukhiapokhri and Ghum in Darjeeling, Poobong Tea Estate is so tiny, it is usually referred to with the prefix chota meaning small. But this estate is one of the oldest in India, having been established in the year 1913. From then on till date, it continues producing excellent quality teas that remain amongst the most sought-after in the world. The place itself is quite beautiful with mist and clouds hovering just out of reach since the altitude varies around 3000 feet to 5000 feet. One look at the leaf mix and you know you're in for a treat. They are even, well-styled and well-twisted, all of which immediately indicate high quality.
