Raw Mango Masala Rice

This recipe is similar in flavour to lemon rice and a healthier alternative during summers thanks to its cooling properties. Pair it with crunchy papad and mango raita for an intense meal of power packed flavors.

Preparation

Step 1 :

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds when it pops up, add urad dal, channa dal and for stir 2 minutes.

Step 2 :

Now add green chillies, curry leaves, turmeric powder, roasted cumin and fenugreek powder.

Step 3 :

Add boiled rice and salt.

Step 4 :

Switch off the flame, add grated mango to rice and again switch on the flame, saute it for 2 to 5 minutes.

Step 5 :

Garnish with sliced mangoes and coriander leaves.
