Penne pasta with healthy twist is an Italian dish.

Steps for Penne Pasta

Step 1 : For Pasta

Boil 1 ltr of water with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of oil. Add pasta.

Step 2 :

Boil for about 10 minutes or till little tender. Drain and put under running cold water. Keep aside.

Step 3 : For the Sauce

Heat oil, add chopped garlic and saute. Add finely chopped onion, mushroom and saute till golden brown.

Step 4 :

Add flour and keep stirring till it turns pinkish. Add milk and water stirring it well without lumps, bring it to boil.

Step 5 :

Add butter, cheese, salt to taste and mixed herbs. Add boiled pasta, boiled broccoli and mix well.

Step 6 :

Empty the content in bakeware and sprinkle remaining cheese and some herbs. Bake for 5 minutes at 180 degrees and ready to serve.
