Molten Mango Lava Cake

Chocolate lava cake is very popular and delicious. Adding a twist by replacing the chocolate center by mango flavoured filling was just heavenly. The chocolate and mango combination is truly awesome. The taste is unparallel. Here is how to make this delectable dessert.

Cooking Steps

Preparation

Step 1 : For the Chocolate Cupcakes

Sieve together all purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

Step 2 :

Whisk the butter and sugar.

Step 3 :

Add in the whisked eggs to it.

Step 4 :

Now fold the flour mixture into the egg mixture, until mixed well.

Step 5 :

Preheat the oven to 180 degree centigrade.

Step 6 :

Line the cupcake tins with butter and pour in the cake batter till 3/4th of the molds.

Step 7 :

Bake for 20 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow them to cool.

Step 8 : For the Mango Lava

Boil milk. Mix together the corn flour, sugar, egg yolk and water.

Step 9 :

Add this mixture to the boiling milk and mix well to form a thick paste.

Step 10 :

Now add in the mango pulp too and cook, until it forms a thick cream. Allow it to cool.

Step 11 :

Now inject the mango cream into the center of the chocolate cupcakes with a cupcake injector.
