A wonderful blend of wholesome vegetables, idli/dosa batter and seasonings, these little poddus are simply irresistible!

Preparation

Step 1 :

Soak chiroti rava in idli batter for 15 minutes. Add one cup each of grated carrot, finely chopped onion, capsicum, cabbage, coriander leaves, finely cut coconut pieces, soaked chana dal, one spoon of oil and Eno (fruit salt), pinch of asafoetida into the idli batter and mix well.

Step 2 :

Put oil into the heated paddu tava and pour the batter in it. Cook it on the low flame for 4 to 5 minutes.

Step 3 :

Serve the hot paddu with coconut/mint chutney.
