Add vanilla essence and little milk at a time and mix.

Sieve all the dry ingredients in a separate bowl.

Add half of the mixture at a time and mix it with the butter mixture. Add remaining milk too.
Step 5 :
Add all the remaining dry ingredients and prepare a lump-free batter.
Step 6 :
Grease the cake tin with butter and pour the batter.
Step 7 :
Keep it in oven at 180-degree Celsius for 30 minutes or till the toothpick comes out clean.
Step 8 :
Let it cool down and then demould it.
Step 9 :
Decorate the cake as per your choice.
