Shrimp Salad

A scrumptious and healthy salad that would awaken your taste buds. This American style salad is easy to make and is truly appetizing.

Preparation

Step 1 :

Marinate the cleaned shrimps with turmeric powder, red chili powder and salt. Let it rest for about an hour.

Step 2 :

Then boil about 1 and 1/2 cups of water and add the marinated prawns and cook them for 15-20 minutes.

Step 3 :

Once done, remove from the flame and allow it to cool completely.

Step 4 :

Next wash and clean the mushrooms and slice them.

Step 5 :

Heat oil in a pan. Add the sliced garlic and saute for a minute. Then add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for 4-5 minutes, until they turn light brown.

Step 6 :

Once done, remove from the flame and allow it to cool completely.

Step 7 :

Next, blanch the broccoli florets in water with little salt. Allow it to cool completely.

Step 8 :

Now in a big bowl, take the shrimps, garlic and mushrooms, broccoli, potato, cooked pasta, cucumber and tomatoes. Add in the mayonnaise and mix well. Add salt if required. Add in the dried rosemary, oregano and chili flakes. Mix well.

Step 9 :

Delicious salad is ready. Refrigerate until use.
