Soak chana dal and moong dal in water for 2 hours.

Add macaroni to boiling water. Add 1 spoon of oil and 1/2 a spoon of salt and cook for about 10 minutes. Keep it aside.

Place a pan on stove and add oil to it. After it gets heated, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, turmeric, curry leaves, onions and ginger garlic paste. Cook them until the onions turn golden brown.

Now blend chana dal, moong dal, chillies and salt to make paste. Add this paste to the cooked onions. Let this paste also get cooked until it becomes dry. Stir frequently so that it doesn't stick to the pan.

Add the cooked macaroni to the above paste. Let it cook for more 6-7 minutes. Stir frequently. Add salt to taste if required. Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
