Steamed Cabbage Rolls

Healthy and delicious steamed cabbage rolls with a wholesome filling of toor dal, moong dal, boiled potatoes along with seasonings.

Preparation

Step 1 :

Carefully remove cabbage leaves without tearing them. Wash and wipe dry.

Step 2 :

Steam whole leaves for 3 minutes, remove the thick vein and cut the leaves into two halves.

Step 3 :

Soak the filling ingredients for 30 minutes.

Step 4 :

Grind the filling ingredients. Add salt and dhania, tempered jeera and mustard seeds and mix well.

Step 5 :

Spread the filling on the leaf and roll it. Steam for 5 minutes and let it cool.

Step 6 :

We can use our imagination and do various filling like Chinese filling, garam masala potato filling, etc.

Step 7 :

The rolls can be enjoyed by dipping it in chutney.

Step 8 :

It can also be sliced and saluted on a tawa after dipping it in oil.
