Rava Cheese Balls

A creamy, crispy and spongy rava dish!

Preparation

Step 1 :

Soak 1 bowl of rava in equal amount of butter milk. Add little salt and water and mix it to smooth batter. Keep it aside for 15 minutes.

Step 2 :

Chop vegetables into small pieces and mix it into rava batter. Cut processed cheese into small cubes. Put appe stand (appam patra) on a low heat and slightly oil the pan.

Step 3 :

Now mix fruit salt/baking soda in the batter.

Step 4 :

With a spoon, put the rava batter in pan, put the cheese cube inside and cover it with the batter.

Step 5 :

Cover the pan and let it cook on a low flame for 2 minutes.

Step 6 :

Grease the rava balls with oil and then flip it again. Cook it for 2 more minutes.

Step 7 :

Serve hot with a green corriander chutney. Rava cheese balls are ready to eat!
