Sweet Coconut Momos

This recipe is of Assamese origin and a great momo option for all sweet lovers.

Preparation

Step 1 :

Lightly dry roast the rice powder in kadai.

Step 2 :

Prepare the rice dough by adding warm water slowly, and keep it at rest.

Step 3 :

Now heat a pan, put the jaggery in it and little water then stir it nicely till it gets sticky.

Step 4 :

Sprinkle the roasted white sesame seed powder and Elachi and stir again for 02 mins.

Step 5 :

Make small bowls (Approx 05 gms) of the rice dough and stuff with the jaggery filling. Give the shape as you like.

Step 6 :

Now place all the momos in a steamer and steam it for 5min.

Step 7 :

Garnish it with grated coconut on the top and serve hot.
