Preparation
Step 1 :
Peel and chop the sweet potato into chips like slices, not too thick nor too thin.
Step 2 :
Arrange them in a microwaveable casserole (at least 3 inches in depth) in the formation of an ellipse, overlapping each slice with another. Repeat until about half inch space is left from the top.
Step 3 :
Sprinkle salt, mixed herbs, black pepper on the potato slices. Do not disturb the layers.
Step 4 :
Pour the white sauce covering the potato slices. When you have used up all the sauce, gently knock the casserole on your counter top to evenly distribute the sauce.
Step 5 :
Sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese all over the white sauce. Add more mixed herbs, black salt and pepper.
Step 6 :
Preheat the oven at 180 degrees Celsius and then bake the preparation for 30 minutes on a high rack.
Step 7 :
Once done, give it a standing time of 5 minutes before taking it out of the oven.
Step 8 :
Serve warm, topped with a little dash of butter.
