Poha is all-time favourite breakfast, especially in Maharashtra. However, it makes a popular tiffin and tea-time snack as welll.

Step 1 :

Heat the oil in a pan and add mustard seeds when the seeds crackle, add curry leaves, pinch of Asofoetida, channa dal and urad dal and sauté for a few seconds.

Step 2 :

Now add peanuts roast it for a min then add green chillies, turmeric powder, salt and half chopped onions sauté it Once onion is done add a cup of flattened rice (poha) to it mix it well and switch off the gas.

Step 3 :

Take a mixing bowl. Transfer the mixture to the bowl and add all the rest ingredients to this- chopped onions, tomatoes, grated mango, chopped cucumber, sugar, lemon juice and coriander leaves. Mix them together.

Step 4 :

Kache Aam ka poha is ready. Serve it with a cup of tea.
