Prawn Malai Curry (Seafood)

The memories of my childhood lies in this dish as my granny used to make delicious prawn malai curry which I used to relish with simple plain steamed rice. I am sharing the same sweet memory of this recipe with all of you.

Step 1 :

Peel off the skin and marinate with turmeric powder, salt and lemon juice. Shallow fry the prawns. Keep aside.

Step 2 :

In the same pan, add oil, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, Kashmiri powder, tomato puree, sour cream, couscous paste and cashew nut paste. Stir continuously and add 1/2 glass of water and close the lid for five minutes.

Step 3 :

Open the lid; add the fried prawns and garam masala powder. Garnish with fresh cream.
