Healthy Multigrain Tarts

This recipe is wholesome, nutritious for pregnant women as it is made of fresh spinach which iron contains iron and folic acid. It also contains tomato paste and cheese which has vitamin c and calcium.

Step 1 :

Take 1 cup multigrain atta, add 1 and 1/2 tsp low fat white butter, 1/2 tsp salt and knead the dough, to prepare the tarts.

Step 2 :

Add tomato puree and sieve. Add 1 tsp baking powder, knead the dough and keep it aside for 5 minutes.

Step 3 :

To make spinach puree, blend 1 cup of spinach with water in a blender.

Step 4 :

Similarly, prepare another dough with spinach puree using the same method, you can add red chili powder too.

Step 5 :

Grease the tart mould with olive oil.

Step 6 :

Bake them on the tart mould for 10 min at 190 c, cook till light golden and 3/4th done.

Step 7 :

Boil 1 cup corn with turmeric, in a tsp of olive oil.

Step 8 :

Saute chopped onions, till light golden. Add chopped spinach,1 garlic clove chopped, once done, keep aside.

Step 9 :

Add finely chopped red and green bell pepper and cook. Add salt and pepper.

Step 10 :

Now, add 1/2 cup milk and cook till it thickens. Sprinkle 2 tsp mozzarella cheese in it and switch off the gas.

Step 11 :

For garnishing, chop red and green bell pepper and tomato.

Step 12 :

Once the tarts and filling are at room temperature, fill the tart with filling, add seasoning and top it with cheese.

Step 13 :

Chop mozzarella cheese and processed cheese. Bake for 5 minutes at 190 c till little golden brown.
