In a bowl, put in wheat flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Ensure to mix it well with a whisk and keep it aside.

Take another bowl, break in an egg, whisk it well. In a plate, mash 1 ripe banana and soften the butter.

Now, combine the mashed banana, melted butter and buttermilk to the whisked egg. Mix it well to ensure they blend in.

Make a small well like structure in the middle of the mixed flour and pour the buttermilk mixture in it.

Meanwhile, heat a pan on the stove.

Use a fork to combine the mixture well. Mix continuously till both the mixtures blend in well. The small lumps formed can be ignored. Ensure not to over whisk the batter.

Grease the pan with a little butter before frying the batter.

Using a soup ladle scoop out a portion of the batter and pour it on to the pan.

Let it fry for around 2-3 minutes before turning it on to the other side, the pancake should be light brown in colour, ensure the flame is on medium heat.

Use the same method to fry the pancakes until the batter is over.

Serve it with sliced bananas and a maple syrup topping.
