Gooseberries are rich in vitamin C and are available throughout the winter. This pickle tastes yummy and is simple to prepare.

Step 1 :

Wash the gooseberries thoroughly and wipe each of them with a cotton cloth.

Step 2 :

Cut each gooseberry vertically into 5 or 6 pieces and remove the seed.

Step 3 :

Grind fenugreek seeds along with mustard seeds into a fine powder.

Step 4 :

Add garlic to the ground powder and grind it coarsely.

Step 5 :

Take the mixture out of the grinder and add it to the gooseberry pieces.

Step 6 :

Add salt and chilly powder to it and mix it well.

Step 7 :

Pour in the oil, mix it well and store it in an air tight container.
