Onion Pakoda is a famous Indian snack that can be had with tea, in the evenings. It is very simple to make, tastes yum and is filling at the same time.

Step 1 :

Take a bowl, add gram flour and long strips of sliced onion in it.

Step 2 :

Add red chilli powder, baking soda, cornflour, salt and chopped curry leaves to it.

Step 3 :

Add a little water to it and mix well.

Step 4 :

Heat oil in a kadai and using a spoon, scoop small onions chunks and deep fry it till golden brown in colour.

Step 5 :

Serve it hot with some sauce.
