Step 1 :
Roast almonds for 2 minutes and allow it to cool a little. Chop them finely and set aside.
Step 2 :
In a bowl, add milk, cocoa powder and corn flour. Mix thoroughly with a whisk and strain the mixture to ensure that there are no lumps. Heat this mixture over the gas in a vessel on medium heat.
Step 3 :
Add sugar, cream, cinnamon powder and dark chocolate to the mixture and mix well. Continue to cook the mixture while mixing it thoroughly with a whisk.
Step 4 :
Cook the mixture for 15 minutes till it becomes thick and does not flow freely from the whisk. It will have a thick custard like consistency.
Step 5 :
Take it off the heat and add peanut butter and vanilla essence while the mixture is still hot. Mix it thoroughly.
Step 6 :
Allow the mixture to cool a little and then transfer it to a mould lined with butter paper. You can also set the mixture in small cups to serve individual guests.
Step 7 :
Refrigerate the mixture for a minimum of 2 hours or preferably overnight.
Step 8 :
Demould the mixture and garnish it with chopped almonds.
