Fish Tikki is a simple recipe, it can be eaten as snacks or as starters. Seafood lovers will love this dish.

Step 1 :

Wash and rinse fish slices.

Step 2 :

Chop onion, green chilli and coriander leaves in to small pieces.

Step 3 :

In a vessel, boil fish pieces by adding water and a pinch of turmeric powder.

Step 4 :

Let it boil for 5-6 minutes and allow it to cool to room temperature.

Step 5 :

Remove the fish bones carefully and mash it well.

Step 6 :

Now, add chopped onion, boiled potato pieces, green chilli, coriander leaves, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, ginger garlic paste, salt and lemon juice.

Step 7 :

Mix it well until it combines and keep it aside for 10-15 minutes.

Step 8 :

Now, using the mixture make small round cutlets.

Step 9 :

Take corn starch in a bowl and add little water. Stir it well.

Step 10 :

Keep the bread crumbs ready in a flat plate.

Step 11 :

Dip the patties in corn starch and spread well with bread crumbs on both the sides.

Step 12 :

Heat oil and fry fish tikkis on medium flame.

Step 13 :

Once it is done transfer it to a plate. Wipe excess oil using tissue paper. Serve it hot with mayonnaise or tomato sauce.
