Khatta Meetha Mirchi Pickle

This green chilly pickle is an authentic family recipe liked by people of all age groups. It is really easy to make. The beauty of the pickle is that you can have it on the same day, so prepare and relish it!

Step 1 :

Wash green chillies, ginger and garlic. Let it dry completely, under a fan.

Step 2 :

Heat mustard oil till it changes in colour.

Step 3 :

Once done, let it cool.

Step 4 :

Grind garlic, ginger, cumin seeds, methi seeds and mustard seeds along with the vinegar.

Step 5 :

Heat oil in a vessel, add ginger garlic paste and cook for 3 minutes.

Step 6 :

Crush jaggery and add it. Cook for some more time, till it dissolves, then add green chillies to it.

Step 7 :

Cook for another 2 to 3 minutes.

Step 8 :

Switch off the flame and allow it to cool completely before putting it in glass jar.

Step 9 :

Your pickle is ready, you can have it with paratha or rice. Enjoy!
