Chanar Korma

Chanar Korma, is made from cottage cheese, it is a rich creamy gravy. This gravy is made without using onion or garlic. It gets its richness from cashews and coconut milk used in the gravy along with yogurt/curd.

Step 1 :

Knead paneer properly and mix it with maida, garam masala, cumin powder, salt and little water.

Step 2 :

Divide in equal portion and make small balls from it.

Step 3 :

Deep fry the balls on low flame, in a kadai.

Step 4 :

Once done, keep it aside.

Step 5 :

In a pan, add ghee, a little oil and bay leaves in.

Step 6 :

Now add ginger paste, ground cashew nut paste, curd and coconut milk. Saute it well.

Step 7 :

Add garam masala, red chilli powder, salt and sugar. Mix it properly.

Step 8 :

Put little water in it and cook it for a while.

Step 9 :

Now, add the fried paneer balls to it.

Step 10 :

Mix it well and after 2 to 3 minutes, the chanar korma will be ready to serve.
