Granola bars are not just rich in protein but also rich in carbs,fat and preservatives. Here is a super healthy recipe made from oats loaded with nuts without any added sugar and oil. This office snack is filling, tasty and healthy. The shelf life is around 6-7 days when stored in an air tight container.

Step 1 :

Roast oats in a large pan for 4-5 minutes on low to medium flame, once done transfer it in a plate and set aside.

Step 2 :

Meanwhile, in a large bowl, add almonds, cashew nuts, pistas, dried figs, dried cranberries, raisins, and chia seeds. Mix it well together using a spoon.

Step 3 :

Take the roasted rolled oats and add it into a mixer jar. Grind it well until you get a coarse powder. Once done, add it into the dried fruit and nuts mixture.

Step 4 :

Now, add vanilla essence and honey to the bowl. You can adjust the amount of honey as per your taste.

Step 5 :

Combine all the ingredients well using a spoon. Ensure to mix it well at least for 2-3 minutes.

Step 6 :

Preheat the oven at 180° C for 7-8 minutes.

Step 7 :

Spread butter paper in a baking tray and transfer the mixture and flatten it out with your hand to ensure it spreads out. Use a roller once you've poured out the entire mixture in the tray to let it set evenly.

Step 8 :

Bake the mixture at 180° C for 20 minutes. Once done, let it cool to room temperature. Use a pizza cutter to make square or rectangular pieces. You can also use coconut powder if you wish to, for this recipe, it enhances the taste.
