Step 1 :

Rinse rice and urad dal separately, allow it to dry. Blend them separately into fine powders.

Step 2 :

Dry roast sabudana till it turns golden brown. Make it to a fine powder.

Step 3 :

Fry the red chilies with 1 tsp oil and blend it to a fine powder.

Step 4 :

Mix all powders to a common base, add jeera, hing, salt as per taste and 3 tsp of hot cooking oil.

Step 5 :

Mix these ingredients with water to form tight dough.

Step 6 :

Take the dough and use a Sieve to mould the dough into layered concentric circle discs.

Step 7 :

Deep fry the chaklis till it turns golden brown.

Step 8 :

Take it out from the pan and serve. You can use kitchen towels for the excess oil.
