Step 1 :

Wash each palak leaf carefully and dry it completely using tissue.

Step 2 :

In a bowl, add besan, rice flour, salt, hing, ajwain and chilli powder. Using a spoon mix it well.

Step 3 :

To the mixture, add a little water to make a thick batter. Stir it with a spoon to ensure there are no lumps in it. The batter has to be thick and not running.

Step 4 :

Heat oil in a kadai.

Step 5 :

Dip the palak leaf well and deep fry it in the kadai.

Step 6 :

Once it turns golden brown, take it out from the kadai.

Step 7 :

Take it out and drain the excess oil using tissue paper and serve palak pakora with ketchup.
