Saffron Brulee

Saffron Brulee is a dessert, which made with saffron string and and finished with caramelized sugar that's why two both opposite colour make's it's very beautiful in to look as well as more tasty too.

Step 1 :

First heat water in pan add saffron strings and soaked it for 10 to 15 mins

Step 2 :

Take egg yolks in a bowl add sugar in it and beat it till completely combined.

Step 3 :

Now take heavy cream in pan,add soaked saffron water in it and stir it on low heat (don't over cook or complete boil temperature) just start to boil, immediately close the gas.

Step 4 :

Now take whipped egg yolk and sugar mixture and add gradually in heavy cream and saffron mixture.

Step 5 :

Now pour this yolk,sugar,cream and saffron mixture in remikin bowl and place this bowl in baking dish 1/4 filled with water or prepare a water bath.

Step 6 :

Now place this water containing baking dish in preheated oven and bake mixture 160 to 170* for 30 to 35 mins.

Step 7 :

When it done remove dish from oven to cool when once cool place the baked ramikin bowl in fridge for atleast 1 and 1/2 hour for set.

Step 8 :

Once it's set, remove from fridge,spread a thin layer of sugar over the top on both remikin bowl for caramalization.

Step 9 :

I have no blow torch then I use a very hot spoon and place over the sugar than a crisp Caramelized layer is formed.

Step 10 :

Now Tasty Saffron Brulle is ready to serve.
