Green Peas Makhana Soup

A great alternative to your regular soups, this green peas soup is extremely delicious and easy to make. Swap your croutons with some healthy makhana!

Cooking Steps

Step 1 :

Take a frying pan at a low flame, add 2 tsp butter, 1/4th cup chopped onion and sauté.

Step 2 :

Once the onions are slightly transparent, add 1 cup of peas and a little water.

Step 3 :

Cover and allow it to cook. Once simmering, pour it in a blender with a little more water.

Step 4 :

Blend it to a liquid consistency. Keep aside.

Step 5 :

Take another pan at a low flame, add 1 tbsp makhana powder and roast it well.

Step 6 :

Pour in 1/2 cup milk and stir it.

Step 7 :

Add the previously blended puree, 1/4th tsp salt, 1/4th tsp black pepper powder and mix well.

Step 8 :

Allow it to simmer until fully cooked.

Step 9 :

Garnish with 1/4th tbsp roasted makhana.

Step 10 :

Serve hot.
