Kheema Samosa

Kheema Samosa is a perfect evening tea time snack especially during the winter season.

Step 1 :

Wash and rinse the mince in running water. Add pinch of turmeric and wash it again.

Step 2 :

Add the washed kheema in a pressure cooker.

Step 3 :

Add chopped onion, ginger and garlic paste, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt.

Step 4 :

Add water till the kheema is soaked in water.

Step 5 :

Allow it to cook for 6-7 whistles. Open the lid and check if the kheema is tender and soft. Once done, keep it aside.

Step 6 :

Heat oil in a flat pan.

Step 7 :

Sauté cinnamon, cardamom and cloves.

Step 8 :

Add curry leaves and sauté it for a few seconds. Now, add kheema to it and sauté it further.

Step 9 :

Check the spice and salt and add accordingly.

Step 10 :

Stir the kheema at regular intervals on high to medium flame.

Step 11 :

Once the gravy starts to thicken, switch it to low flame. Add oil if required while it cooks further.

Step 12 :

Once the oil sets at to the corners, turn off the flame.

Step 13 :

Take a samosa patti and make cone shape.

Step 14 :

Fill the stuffing and stick all the corners using maida paste.

Step 15 :

Heat oil in a pan and drop the stuffed samosa one by one into the oil.

Step 16 :

Fry both the sides till brown.

Step 17 :

Serve it hot with sauce.
