Ingredients
Step 1 :
Chop the onions and keep them aside.
Step 2 :
Heat a tbsp of ghee in a pressure pan, add cinnamon sticks, cloves, saunf, bay leaf, slit green chilly, cardamon,
fry it until it emanates nice aroma.
Step 3 :
Now, add chopped onions and fry for 3 minutes. Then add basmati rice and fry for 2 minutes.
Step 4 :
Add 5 cups of water and required amount of salt.
Step 5 :
Keep for 2 whistles. When done, remove from heat.
Step 6 :
Serve hot with raita or kurma.
