Ghevar with Custard Rabri

A Rajasthani special sweet made from ghee, wheat flour, and sugar syrup.

Ingredients

Cooking Steps

Ghevar

Step 1 :

In a bowl, add ghee and ice cubes. Then beat the ghee with your fingers till it turns white. After this, remove the ice cube.

Step 2 :

Add flour little by little to the ghee followed by 1 tbsp milk. Add water as needed to form thin batter.

Step 3 :

Add oil to a pan and heat it.

Step 4 :

Pour the batter little by little in hot oil carefully and fry till it turns golden brown.

Rabri

Step 1 :

Add milk to a pan and boil it. When milk starts to boil, add diluted custard powder, sugar and mix it . Cook for 2-3 min and switch off the flame.

Step 2 :

Once the rabri is ready, add it to a plate, then put half ghevar and garnish with dry nuts.
