Ingredients

Coffee cake

1.5 Cup All purpose flour 0.5 tsp Baking powder

0.25 tsp Baking soda 0.75 Cup Brown sugar

0.25 Cup Oil 2 pieces Eggs

0.5 Cup Warm milk 1 tsp Instant coffee

1 tsp Vanilla essence

Frosting

400 gm Mascarpone cheese 200 gm Whipped cream

100 gm Powdered sugar

Cooking Steps

Coffee cake

Step 1 :

Mix the dry ingredients ( 1.5 cups all purpose flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1/4 tsp baking soda) and keep it aside.

Step 2 :

Add 1tsp instant coffee to warm milk. Mix this and keep it aside.

Step 3 :

Mix the wet ingredients. Beat brown sugar, oil and eggs till the mixture becomes foamy. Add 1tsp of vanilla essence to it.

Step 4 :

Alternately add the dry ingredients and the coffee milk to the wet ingredients mixture.

Step 5 :

Bake this batter at 180° for 25-30 mins.

Frosting

Step 1 :

Whip up some whipped cream till soft peaks.

Step 2 :

Add mascarpone cheese and powdered sugar.

Step 3 :

Whip till stiff peaks are formed.

Step 4 :

You can be messy with the frosting.

Step 5 :

At last, drizzle some cocoa powder over the cake.
