Step 1 :

Heat oil in a pan and squeeze batter into oil until it forms vada shape and fry till light brown.

Step 2 :

Simmer all the vadas and cook it on a medium flame until done.

Step 3 :

Drain excess oil and immediately soak the vadas in cold water for 10 minutes.

Step 4 :

Squeeze the vadas lightly and arrange them in a serving dish.

Step 5 :

Pour the curd on top of the vadas. Garnish it with roasted cumin powder, red chilly powder and fresh coriander.

Step 6 :

Serve it with sweet tamarind chutney.
