Eggless Ghee Cake
Step 1 :
Preheat the oven to 200°C while other preparations are done.
Step 2 :
In a mixing bowl sieve in the dry ingredients, maida, baking powder, baking soda and cardamom powder.
Step 3 :
In another mixing bowl add the softened ghee along with condensed milk and mawa and mix everything well. Grate the mawa to prevent lump formation.
Step 4 :
Now add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and gently fold everything in one direction. Add a few drops of milk if the batter feels very thick. The batter must have a ribbon-like formation when poured using a spoon.
Step 5 :
Transfer the cake batter to the cake tin and sprinkle the sliced pistachios on the cake.
Step 6 :
Place the cake tin in the oven and bake for about 25 minutes or until the cake is fully baked.
Step 7 :
Demould the cake and sprinkle some dried rose petals to garnish it. Serve this cake warm.
