Papayas help as a digestive enzyme, they are good for our hearts and also nourishes our skin. But who knew raw papayas could be so yummy... Try out this nutritious Bengali recipe that is quick and tasty

Method

Step 1 :

Boil the grated papaya in a vessel till it becomes tender

Step 2 :

Pour 1 tablespoon of oil in the frying pan and add cumin seeds, saute a little then add boiled papaya and all other spices.

Step 3 :

Sprinkle salt and cook for 3-5 minutes till the spices are mixed properly.

Step 4 :

Add the grated coconut and cook for another 2-3 minutes while stirring.

Step 5 :

Add little water and cook for sometime by covering the lid.

Step 6 :

Sprinkle Garam Masala and add ghee, mix well and serve with hot rice or soft rotis.
