Tangy Veggie Pasta

This is a penne pasta recipe with veggies used in our daily cooking. Tomato paste gives the TANGY taste and for the spiciness, Chilli powder and PavBhaji masala powder is added.

Method

Step 1 :

Boil the water in a pan.

Step 2 :

Add the penne and cook for 15 minutes.

Step 3 :

Strain the water and reserve the penne.

Method

Step 1 :

Finely chop carrot, potato, onion and capsicum.

Step 2 :

Boil chopped carrot and potato and keep aside.

Step 3 :

Chop each tomato into 4 pieces.

Step 4 :

Add the tomatoes into a mixer jar and grind it into smooth paste.

Step 5 :

Heat oil for frying in a pan.

Step 6 :

Add ginger garlic paste. When the paste leaves its aroma add chopped onions. Fry for 2 minutes till they turn golden brown.

Step 7 :

Add chopped capsicum. Fry for 4 minutes till the capsicum becomes soft.

Step 8 :

Now add tomato paste. Saute and cook for 6-7 minutes.

Step 9 :

Add Red Chilli Powder and PavBhaji masala powder and a pinch of salt.

Step 10 :

Add green peas and boiled carrot, potatoes. Saute and Cook for 5 minutes.

Step 11 :

Now add boiled penne pasta. Add salt as per the taste. Cook for 6-7 minutes till the pasta absorbs gravy.

Step 12 :

Put off the fire. Serve the hot and tangy pasta.
