Cooking Steps
Step 1 : For Outer Layer
Strain Maida through fine Seive 2-3 times and mix Ground & strained Oats. Add hot Ghee in above mixture & mix it thoroughly, followed by kneeding with cold water. Keep aside dough by covering with cloth for 30 minutes approximately
Step 2 : For Filling
Mix all the Filling ingredients in a bowl followed by adding of dissolved Menthol. No need to add Sugar
Step 3 :
Re-kneed prepared Dough & make small puri's(Paari). Fill properly mixed Filling (already prepared) and give it a shape of Modak by closing edges together. Brush lightly with melted butter
Step 4 :
In Preheated Microwave bake these Modaks on 180 degree C temperature for 10 minutes & then on 150 degree C temperature for another 10 minutes. Keep check while baking till modak outer layer becomes light golden in shade
Step 5 :
Alternatively you can fry these modak in Ghee also.
Step 6 : Serving
And serve this baked healthy Shahi Modakas Naivedya(Prasada) Offering to Lord Ganapati
