Wash and peel papaya and slice it. Grate it and keep it aside. Take a pan or a thick bottom vessel add milk and boil grated papaya till it becomes soft.

Once the milk drains completely, add sugar and keep stirring in a medium flame. Add little ghee and keep stirring.

Once it has come to halwa consistency, add cardamom powder stir well and transfer to a bowl.
