Everybody loves Parathas. There is no better way to start a day than with some lip smacking Alu Parathas.

Cooking Steps

Steps for Alu Paratha

Step 1 :

Make dough with whole wheat flour, add salt, add little oil, add water and knead it well.

Step 2 :

Boil potatoes, drain all the water and mash them without any lumps.

Step 3 :

Add little oil in a pan, add jeera, finely chopped green chilli, mashed potatoes, salt, turmeric powder, aamchur powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, coriander and mix everything well and let it cook for a couple of minutes.

Step 4 :

Make small balls of the aloo stuffing. Roll out the atta and add the stuffing in the centre, then bring the roti together like making a momo, pinch and seal it at the centre.

Step 5 :

And then turn it and roll it into a thin paratha on a dusted kitchen floor. Cook it on a hot Tawa on medium flame with a little butter.

Step 6 : For Serving

Serve with Raita

Step 7 : For Raita

Add chopped onions, fried green chillies, mint leaves, beaten curd, salt and a pinch of chaat masala.
