Butter Stuffed Paratha

Healthy and tasty wholesome paratha made with and whole wheat flour and stuffed with vegetables.

Cooking Steps

For The Dough

Step 1 :

Sieve the flour along with the salt

Step 2 :

Add melted butter, mix well and make a soft dough using enough water.

Step 3 :

Knead well for 2 to 3 minutes and divide the dough into 4 equal portions. Keep aside covered with a lid.

For the Stuffing

Step 1 :

Bring the vegetables together in a bowl and add salt and mix well and keep aside for 10 minutes.

Step 2 :

Squeeze out the water from the vegetables and add mint & coriander leaves, green chillies, chaat masala, garam masala, salt to taste and mix well. Keep aside.

How to proceed

Step 1 :

Roll out each portion of the dough into a circle of about 100 mm. (4") diameter with the help of some flour.

Step 2 :

Place a portion of the stuffing in the centre of the circle and bring together all the sides in the centre and seal tightly.

Step 3 :

Roll out each portion of the dough into a circle of about 100 mm. (5") diameter with the help of some flour.

Step 4 :

Cook on a tava using a little butter until golden pink spots appear on both sides.

Step 5 :

Repeat steps 1 to 4 with remaining mixture and dough to make 4 more parathas.

Step 6 : Serving

Serve hot immediately with a dollop of butter, fresh curds and tomato chutney.
