Preparation

Step 1 :

Take flour in a big vessel and add ghee, salt & celery seeds & baking soda and mix all ingredients nicely.

Step 2 :

After it add curd to make a dough, please note don't make dough too soft just mix it really well.

Step 3 :

Cover the dough and keep aside it for 1/2 hour fermenting.

Step 4 : For Stuffing Masala baati

Peel potatoes and mash the finely. Started to heat oil in a pan once it heated add cumin seeds and asafoetida and saute for few minutes now add ginger, green chilly,red chilly, turmeric powder,peas and saute for 2 minutes also add potatoes, salt, garam masala & green coriander mix all ingredients nicely. Stuffing is ready now

Step 5 :

After 1/2 hour grease hands with ghee and knead the dough again. Now your dough for making baati is also ready.

Step 6 :

Now start making balls from dough, keep the size of balls required same as chapattis.

Step 7 :

Take 1 ball and flatten it into 2-3 inch dia circle with help of ur hands and place 1-1.5 tsp stuffing on it.

Step 8 :

Now seal it from all side via giving it round Shape. And likewise prepare all the baaties.

Step 9 :

Start frying baaties in ghee and take them out.

Step 10 : Serve with

Delicious baati is ready to serve with hot daal.
